National Grid have announced their proposed route through the Somerset Levels. You can visit NG's website and view the proposed location map at http://www.hinkleyconnection.co.uk/ Type in your postcode and you can then zoom in to the area you wish to view.

These GIANT pylons will be 46.5 meters high (nearly twice as high as the existing pylons) and would have a devastating effect on all residents, the environment and wildlife in the area.
